1The service

Focus Room is a focus timer (pomodoro). You earn tomatoes as you focus and furnish your room with items. If you like, you can take a username and form a Focus Team with friends, and back up your progress with Google Play Games. The core timer and room work offline.

2Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Focus Room. If you are under 18, read these terms together with a parent or guardian.

3Tomatoes and items

Tomatoes and the items you unlock with them are virtual in-app items: they have no real-money value and cannot be cashed out, sold or transferred. There are currently no real-money purchases in the app. We may adjust how tomatoes are earned and what items cost to keep the game balanced.

4Username and #tag rules

Your username and the #tags of teams you create are visible to other users. You may not choose:

• Names that impersonate another person, a brand, Bee Studios or anyone in authority;
• Insults, profanity, hate speech, harassment, sexual or violent expressions;
• Names containing someone's personal details (phone, address, etc.).

We try to block offensive names automatically. We may change or remove a name or tag that breaks these rules, or restrict access to team features. You can change your username at most 3 times in 30 days.

5Focus Teams

• A team has up to 12 members. Whoever creates the team is its admin; the admin approves or declines join requests and can invite people by username.
• When you join a team, your @username, avatar, focus minutes, streak and whether you are focusing right now are visible to everyone in that team (details: Privacy policy).
• You can leave a team at any time. Be respectful to your teammates; do not use team features to bother anyone.

6Account and backup

Focus Room has no email or password; your account is recognised by a secret key generated on your phone and, optionally, your Google Play Games link. Keeping your phone and Play Games account safe is your responsibility. If the same account has two different saves, you choose which one to continue with; the other one is deleted. You can delete your server data at any time: Account and data deletion.

7What not to do

• Overload our server, send automated requests or try to get around security measures;
• Use someone else's device key or account;
• Inflate focus time with fake requests or cheat by modifying the app;
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or delete the server record of accounts that break these rules.

8Intellectual property

Focus Room's name, design, artwork and code belong to Bee Studios. We grant you the right to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes; copying, selling or making derivative works requires written permission. You remain responsible for the username and tags you choose.

9Availability

Focus Room is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that online features (teams, backup) will always work without interruption; we may change them, pause them temporarily, or shut them down with reasonable notice. Focus Room is not a health or medical tool.

10Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss arising from use of the app (for example losing your phone without backup turned on). Your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract are not affected.

11Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your server data at any time. If you seriously break these terms, we may end your access to team and backup features.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. This does not take away any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in; as a consumer you may bring a claim before the consumer bodies or courts of your place of residence.

13Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with its effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a material change means you accept the new terms.
